How SpawnLabs Technologies, LLC handles information on its websites, for the Offgrid AI media brand, and in the Offgrid AI application.

Effective 30 September 2026

Who operates what

SpawnLabs Technologies, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (SpawnLabs, we, us), operates the websites at senpai.ai and spawnlabs.xyz. Senpai.ai is the name under which SpawnLabs offers its AI search optimization and AI transformation work.

SpawnLabs also operates Offgrid AI, a media brand publishing independent editorial coverage of what AI is changing in business, marketing, work, commerce, and culture, including the Offgrid AI Page on LinkedIn.

SpawnLabs also operates the Offgrid AI application, an internal editorial and publishing tool that SpawnLabs uses to prepare Offgrid AI content, publish it to the Offgrid AI LinkedIn Page, and record how that content performs. This policy covers all of them.

What the websites collect

Apart from the question map tool, described below, the websites set no cookies of their own and run no advertising scripts. senpai.ai counts its visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies. It records the page visited, the site that led to it, the country, region and city, and the kind of device and browser. It tells one visit from another by a value made from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours, and ties no record to a person or to an IP address. Two forms send information to SpawnLabs by email:

  • The contact form asks for your name, email address and message, with optional phone, company, service and timeline fields.
  • The research access form asks for your name, company, email address and role, and records which study you asked about.

What you submit is delivered to a SpawnLabs mailbox by Resend, our email delivery provider, and is used to reply to you and to handle your request. To limit automated abuse, the site briefly holds the IP address of a submitting device in memory so that repeated submissions can be rate-limited; this is discarded automatically and is kept in no database. The hosting provider that serves the websites may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, request times and browser details, under its own terms.

The question map tool

At senpai.ai/ask a business can ask for a question map. To make one we keep what was typed (the website, what the business sells and where), the email address the map is sent to, the map itself, and any request for paid work sent from it.

We read the public pages of that website and look up what people type into search. For some maps we also read public comments on YouTube videos; they are used to write questions and are not kept.

To limit each device to one free map, the tool sets one cookie holding a random number; it is not used to follow anyone. The internet address a request comes from is kept only in scrambled form, to limit misuse.

The tool's pages also carry a pixel from OpenAI, for the ads SpawnLabs runs on ChatGPT. It tells OpenAI that a visit came from one of those ads and which of the tool's pages were seen, and it may set a cookie of OpenAI's. It is on the tool's pages only, and it is sent nothing typed into the tool.

The map's text is prepared with an AI model from Anthropic, which is sent the website's public text and search phrases and never an email address. These records are kept in a database provided by Neon through Vercel, and emails are sent by Resend. A few of a map's questions may be asked of an AI model from OpenAI, with web search, to see which businesses it names; those questions are about the market and carry nothing about the person who asked for the map.

From the websites and from the tool you can book a call with us or start a chat on WhatsApp. The booking page is Google Calendar's, loaded from Google only when you open it, and Google may set its own cookies then. What you give to Google or to WhatsApp is handled by them under their own terms, and reaches us as a booking or a message. We note that the calendar or the chat was opened from a map, so that we can match the two.

The Offgrid AI application and LinkedIn

The Offgrid AI application is operated by SpawnLabs for one purpose: managing the Offgrid AI editorial workflow and the Offgrid AI LinkedIn Page. It is used only by SpawnLabs. It has no public sign-up and no accounts for the public, and it collects no information from readers of Offgrid AI content.

When a LinkedIn Page administrator authorises it through LinkedIn's OAuth process, the application connects to LinkedIn's official API to:

  • publish approved Offgrid AI posts to the Offgrid AI Page, as the Page;
  • retrieve posts published by the Page and the aggregate statistics LinkedIn provides to Page administrators, such as impressions, reactions, comments, shares, clicks, page views and follower counts.

It requests only the permissions needed for these actions (w_organization_social, r_organization_social and rw_organization_admin). It does not access LinkedIn members' profiles, connections, messages or personal data, and it collects no information about individual members. Statistics are used in the aggregate form LinkedIn supplies, to understand how Offgrid AI content performs.

Credentials and access tokens issued by LinkedIn are stored by SpawnLabs separately from content records, are never included in exports, and are used only to operate the application. Content, publication records and statistics retrieved through the API are kept in SpawnLabs' own systems as the editorial history of Offgrid AI, and are handled in line with LinkedIn's API terms on data use and storage.

How we use information

  • To reply to you and handle a contact or research access request.
  • To make a question map, send it, and handle a request sent from it.
  • To prepare, publish and measure Offgrid AI content.
  • To keep the websites and the application secure.

We do not sell information, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties beyond the service providers named here, unless the law requires it.

Service providers

  • Resend delivers form submissions to us by email, and sends a question map to the address given for it.
  • Anthropic provides the AI model that helps prepare a question map.
  • OpenAI provides the AI model that a few of a map's questions may be asked of, and the pixel on the tool's pages for the ads run on ChatGPT.
  • Neon, through Vercel, provides the database that holds the question map tool's records.
  • Google provides the calendar on which a call with us is booked.
  • WhatsApp, a Meta company, carries a chat you choose to start with us.
  • LinkedIn provides the platform and API through which Offgrid AI content is published and measured, under LinkedIn's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Vercel, the hosting provider that serves the websites, which also counts visits to senpai.ai.

Retention

Form submissions stay in the SpawnLabs mailbox for as long as needed to handle the request and keep a record of the correspondence. A question map, and the email address it was sent to, are kept so that the map's link keeps working. Offgrid AI editorial records, publication receipts and statistics are retained as the brand's history. You can ask us to delete what you sent us at any time.
